About Namaste Yoga Studio: "Namaste" is a salutation, pronounced: Nahm-ah-stay. This is literally translated as I bow to you.  A deeper meaning translates as "all that is divine in me honors all that is divine in you".

Namaste Yoga Studio was created as a sanctuary, a place were we can bring our full attention to our yoga practice, leaving other distractions outside. This allows us to make the mind/ body/breath connection that is integral to yoga.

About Me

I have worked as a registered nurse in several different specialties, including oncology, critical care and post anesthesia care for more than 20 years.  I strive to promote health in the community in which I live. I am a board member of the Main Street Marshfield program which is dedicated to the success of the downtown area. My yoga practice began approximately 8 years ago.  I am certified through Yoga Alliance, a national registry, as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (200 hr. RYT). I teach hatha yoga and was trained in the vinyasa style. I continue to build on my knowledge and practice of yoga by attending retreats, conferences and reading various text.  Yoga is adaptable to the general population through modifications and the use of props. It builds core strength , improves balance, posture, flexibility and your sense of well-being. Start your practice slowly and with patience.

 Namaste, Jane
